McNair Scholars... The program that just keeps on giving. I decided to participate in McNair again because this program is more than just a class, it's more than just getting ready for grad school or a Ph.D., and it's more than research. With this program I have stepped into doors I would have never been close to. I have made so many meaningful connections, especially with my research mentor, Dr.Boyne. This year I was invited to present at the Undergraduate Scholarly Showcase. At the beginning of the year, I began working on a new research study including the fNIRS technology. I spent the whole year working on this, assisting with participation recruitment, set up, and procedures. To the left, you'll see the final poster I presented at the showcase.
