the seminar that just keeps on giving. when I began this seminar I really thought it was focused on Graduate school and prepping undergraduate students to start the next part of their academic careers. however, that was a small fraction of what this seminar included. this seminar included professional, personal, and academic growth activities and workshops.  
 
on a professional level, I've learned how to present myself in a professional setting, communicate with experts, and most importantly I've learned to take risks and put myself out there to seek new opportunities (even if it makes me uncomfortable). 









on a personal level, I've learned to give myself a break every now and then and step back. this seminar tested me and pushed me in a different way. the assignments and tasks were often time-consuming and thought-provoking. in these situations I had to learn that taking a break is better than pushing through and lowering the quality of your work. 








on an academic level, I've learned how to create a professional Curriculum Vitae and Resume. During this seminar, ive also learned how to work in collaborative groups, great presentation pointers, and networking skills. I've learned many tips on how to apply to graduate school, and even how to get my research published.
